In 2001, Scout's mum got on the rosé, watched Amélie and decided to give Scout and their sister El a quirky blunt fringe and bob haircut, condemning her kids to three formative years of living down the nickname 'egg head'.
Since this early baptism of yolk and fire, Scout has embraced their high forehead, capitalised on a knack for pre-emptive self-deprecating humour and reclaimed the word 'egg' as a gender-neutral term of endearment.
A handy little genre-defying sketch-clown-standup-drag multitool, Scout brings their unique brand of low-fi, prop-heavy absurdity to the stage in their raw first solo hour – Good Egg. And it's a bloody a cracking time.
Warning: you will never watch the Federal Budget or listen to the music of Enya the same way again.
